About selfishness and greed

While 78% of Americans believe minimum wage should be indexed by the cost of living and should suffice not to fall in poverty, only 40% of the most prosperous contributors share that opinion.

About a minority that grows and a majority that weakens

While the profit of a minority grows exponentially, the majority’s weakens. This imbalance comes from the ideologies that promote the absolute autonomy of markets and financial speculation, thus denying the States the right to control, although these are the ones responsible for the common good.

About the two interpretations of judicial independence

1. The National Executive Power is urged to strictly abide by the article 109 of the National Constitution (which protects the independence of the Judicial Power) and to exercise its faculties as power of the State within the limits of procedural regulations, avoiding the implementation of direct or indirect pressure mechanisms upon judges that could affect their independence.

2. We believe the independence of the Judicial Power is a cardinal principle of the republican system, which must not be interpreted as merely limited to the relationship that must exist between the powers of the State. The judges must also be independent from the economic interests of large corporations, concentrated media, judges of higher courts and –even- be independent from the organizations that represent them.
