About the potter and the great-great-grandparents of the upper classes

He is very much mistaken who believes that the potter’s workmanship, even if it is not of fine workmanship, is incompatible with the delicacy and taste of manners that distinguish the upper classes of today, already forgotten or from birth ignorant of the brutality of their great-great-grandparents and the bestiality of their great-great-grandparents.

About some opposition

An opposition that is intellectually null, politically sterile, and humanly miserable.

About the good and the bad

In societies accustomed to consuming information in the form of pills and in which everything is simplified as much as possible, when it comes to analyzing a complex reality, there is a need to identify a bad guy and a good guy. It is much easier and more efficient (in terms of impact on audiences) to move in black and white rather than diving into the grays. Because greys generate doubts, questions, uncertainties, reflections and need time, that asset in danger of extinction. And in these nuances, the figures of the good and the bad are diluted.
