About necessary people
There are people who just by saying a word ignites the illusion and the rose bushes, who just by smiling between the eyes invites us to travel through other areas, makes us go through all the magic.
There are people, who just by shaking hands break the loneliness, set the table, serve the pot, place the garlands. That just by wielding a guitar makes a homemade symphony.
There are people who, just by opening their mouths, reach all the limits of the soul, feed a flower, invent dreams, make the wine sing in the jars and stay after, as if nothing.
And one becomes boyfriend with life banishing a lonely death, who knows that around the corner, there are people who are like that, so necessary.

About growing wings
They sowed fear in us, we grew wings.

About leisure
The emptiness of the great passions is filled with the barrage of the small ones. Today we are drowning in small passions, and leisure has become the opposite of rest, plagued by hobbies designed to report some form of gain. The purest slackness, just because, beyond the scheduled vacations, only fits strong souls, while the enemy of that form of rest is melancholy and the proven fact that, today, most people no longer know how to be alone with themselves.
Alain Corbin (quoted by Guadalupe Treibel in Las 12)
