As we write this note, Argentina is mourning the sudden passing away of former President Néstor Kirchner. On very few occasions have we seen so many and diverse people grieving, some of them openly, others intimately.
He ruled the country at one of its worst moments in history, and led its economic recovery. He did not hesitate as he steered the ship in the middle of the storm, and the boat has got safely into the port. He was a passionate leader and a resolute decision-maker. History, in the eye of his followers and detractors, will write abundantly about him. Today we should be grateful for his effort, which cost him his life, and think how we can reinforce Argentina’s renaissance.
With the view on the future may grief transform into reflection and union. With respect and humility, we say farewell to him.
Until next month.
Kind regards to everyone.
