As part of the misinformation and manipulation that prevail in the world, hegemonic groups try to impose certain heroisms that they select and maneuver according to their interests and, in best case scenario, aligned with their worldview. Countless other types of heroisms are ignored such as those who amend social injustices or transform subjugation processes. Silence and no recognition are reserved for them.
This should not surprise us because uplifting certain behaviors and rejecting or ignoring others is part of the cultural fight between minorities that benefit from and majorities that are harmed by the concentrating order. Nations have tens of thousands silenced heroisms that are worth recognizing and remember as inspirers of our own advances.
