Haiti: Revolution and Punishment, from Latin America’s First Independence to the Poorest Country in the Region—Centro Cultural de la Cooperacion

It is an aim of this bulletin that, beyond our words as academicians (which at times only we know) we listen, the body is predisposed, we circulate the voice of all those who “make” of collective action much more than a profession, rather a way of life, resistance, and commitment to hope. Not only to keep us informed but also to learn and apprehend collective practices. Not only to add “data” of interest to our research but to find spaces for the circulation of hope that sustain us in our activity of transcending the mere objectification of reality and duplication of the real in consciousness. Not only to find “useful” contacts for our tasks but also to discover, at least in a fragmentary and progressive way, the thousands of human beings who believe, like us, that Another World is Possible.
