Ernesto Cohen
Opinión Sur wishes to share with its readers its deep sorrow over the death, on this past August 27, of Ernesto Cohen, a dearest friend, wonderful person, professor of several generations of Latin Americans. He analyzed and accompanied processes, cultivated enduring friendships, lived life to its fullest, and endeared himself to others. He wrote numerous articles and books, including a classic, Evaluación de Proyectos Sociales, which he co-authored with Rolando Franco. This past June, the Mexico City government paid a special tribute to Ernesto Cohen in recognition for his contribution in his field of specialization. We will try to get a copy of that session, including some acceptance remarks by Ernesto, with a view to uploading it in Opinion Sur’s web site.
