Regarding complementing incomes of impoverished families

Complementing incomes of millions of families under poverty lines does not require miracles rather completely viable redistributive measures. In addition to making more efficient the execution of an ill-administered and feudalized social budget, it is fair and necessary to become clean about real-estate valuations or the creation of new taxes for unoccupied idle properties, import of luxury goods, harmful products such as cigarettes and beer, destructive “services” such as recreational and financial gambling, export of our mining and agriculture wealth, harmful environmental activities or the extremely high incomes of some judges. This will not only help to collect what is needed but also reestablish some sense of equality.

Regarding life lines

Three winding lines, lost towards infinity, constantly proximate and divergent: what one man has believed he was, what he wanted to be, and what he was.

Marguerite Yourcenar

Regarding the Portuguese-Jew origin of Argentine last names from XIX century

In a certain article of the admirable study Rosas y su tiempo (Rosas and his time), Ramos Mejia has enumerated the main last names of his time. Apart from those of Basque origin, they are all from Portuguese-Jew strain: Pereyra, Ramos, Cueto, Sáenz, Valiente, Acevedo, Piñero, Fragueiro, Vidal, Gómez, Pintos, Pacheco, Perdea, Rocha.
