Regarding the commodification of food

Regarding those who destroy Public School

A country that destroys Public School never does that for money, lack of resources, or excessive cost. A country that dismounts Education, Arts or Cultures is already governed by those that can only lose with the dissemination of knowledge.

Italo Calvino (1974)

Regarding Great Britain as originator of tax havens

Great Britain operates one of the largest webs of fiscal havens in the world. They are independent territories, in part controlled and aided by Great Britain: Anguilla, Bermuda, British Virgin Islands, Cayman Islands, Guernsey, Montserrat, Turks Islands and Caicos plus those in the English Channel and the Man Island. The legislation of those fiscal havens was approved in London.
