Regarding national shame

On Friday, April 22^nd, 2016, by paying the Argentine government materialized its capitulation in front of the vulture funds. That day it will be remembered as the day of the national shame

Shame is a human sensation from the conscientious knowledge of dishonor, disgrace, or condemnation. Its synonym ignominy refers to the effect of a dishonest or unfair action. The ignominious action is related with the shameless and dishonor of an individual to whom moral considerations are indifferent and is, thus, object of general discredit.

 Regarding a thousand-times repeated lie

An ad nauseam argument is a fallacy in which there is an argument in favor of a statement through its prolonged reiteration, by one or several people. The appeal to this argument implies that some of the parts incite a superfluous discussion to escape from reasoning that cannot be offset; repeating previously discussed, explained and/or refuted aspects.

This fallacy is generally used by politicians, religious believers, and rhetoric that repeat certain true or false affirmations until settling them as part of the beliefs of an individual or society, turning them into uncontestable truths.

It is well-known the phrase attributed to Nazi Propaganda Minister Joseph Goebbels “If you repeat a lie often enough, people will believe it, and you will even come to believe it yourself”

Regarding the right of changing and reinventing the city

The question of which type of city we want cannot be separated from the type of persons that we want to be, the type of social relations we want, the relationship with nature that we appreciate, the way of life we desire and the aesthetic values we respect. Thus, the right to a city is much more than a right of individual or collective access to the resources it stores or protects; it is a right to change and reinvent the city according with our desires. Moreover, it is a right more collective than individual over the process of urbanization. The freedom to make and remake ourselves and our cities is one of the most precious but neglected human rights.
