About the attributes of movement

Impurity and contradiction are movement’s attributes.

Ernesto Sábato.

About mockery as an epidemic

In our country (particularly in the big cities) double meaning, a speculative gaze, mocking the innocent or the one who looks at things straightforwardly are no longer a flaw, but a sign of communitarian pain to an epidemic degree.

Miguel Espeche

About the cow’s rattle of a horse-man

Instead of a cell phone, for years I have been carrying in my pocket the cow’s rattle that a horse-man, the one who pulls a cart with his own hands and works as a human cab, gave me in Calcutta. He did so before he died of tuberculosis at the age of 40. When I shake it, I can hear the voices of those who have nothing, but who seem to have everything, because they never surrender.
