About a friendship that is out of the ordinary

Someone who bolsters our courage and approves, or sometimes disputes, our ideas; who shares with us, and with equal fervor, the joys of art and of living, the endless work which both require, never easy but never dull; someone who is neither our shadow nor our reflection, nor even our complement, but simply himself; someone who leaves us ideally free, but who nevertheless obliges us to be fully what we are.

Marguerite Yourcenar

About what is important to a brilliant architect

In my opinion architecture is not the most important matter. Important are family, friends and this unfair world we must modify.

Oscar Niemeyer

About Justice’s role in an unfair society

What does Justice do when it stands before an unfair society: does it legitimate or does it strive to make everyone’s rights also operational for the weak? That is Justice’s role: the materialization of rights. For some they are immediately operational, for others they are abstractions.
Félix Crous
