About internal differences

It is good to have differences. If science is not contradicted, it does not develop! We are in function of government, the political organization that is in function of government is the MAS-IPSP, and this has its president who is Evo Morales. Our acting president is brother Luis Arce and I am accompanying as vice president. And we are a government of organizations. In these meetings we meet, it is not the first nor will it be the last. We are actors, we can do a lot for our people and all issues must be discussed.

About the expulsion of Jews from Spain in 1492

In Spain there were about 300,000 Jews. 100,000 left for Morocco and Turkey and the rest were forcibly converted. But no one believed them and, as they aroused continuous suspicion, the Inquisition watched over them. For example, if there were books in a house, Jews were thought to live there. The children were converts by inheritance, but they also inherited the state of suspicion. Jews as diabolical beings is a subject that is not talked about.

About converting ourselves to good living

There is an expression of the aborigines of the Amazon that I love: “the good living”. They have that philosophy of living well, which has nothing to do with our porteño “having fun” or with the Italian “dolce vita”. For them it is about living in harmony with nature. Here we need an internal choice of people and countries. A conversion, we would say.
