Up to 1980, more or less, a researcher had to search and find; there was no other possibility. From then on, molecular biology and a greater knowledge of genetics transform that “searcher” into “a creator”: he will create new species, new cells, transgenic animals, mice with human genes… It is an extraordinary revolution.
