For the active player, being efficient is more important than being right. And being efficient means accomplishing what one is seeking. He believes that there are as many truths as there are people, and when he is in a conversation where the other person thinks differently, he ponders whether anything of what the other one says may be of use to his life. Consequently, he turns differences into opportunities for growth and deeper relationships, contributes to the creation of a consensus-prone environment, and cooperates instead of antagonizing. The active player lives the “must-be” as a “want-to-be”. Rather than refusing to make a choice, to imitate the imposed model as much as possible, the active player reinvents himself, thinking that he can be different. He becomes in touch with his values and is vividly conscious of what is important, and that becomes his aim in life.
