For some years, biodigestors installed in some neighborhoods in the city of Santa Fe, Argentina, have been recycling organic waste and converted it into energy. Specialists from the Universidad Nacional del Litoral estimate that with this system the city might treat the organic waste it generates and, in addition, produce 12,500 cubic meters of biogas daily.
