Can the mind live with fear, be a part of it? Can the mind probe that feeling instead of avoiding or trying to escape from it? I think that the main reason why we live such contradictory lives is that we are always escaping from fear. Freedom from fear is impossible unless one experiences fear, and one cannot experience fear while one can find ways and means to escape from it.
